Seasonal Grounds Staff Overview:
Seasonal groundskeepers, perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled to skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate hand powered equipment and other equipment under the direction of the golf course superintendent, assistant superintendent of assigned supervisor.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Operates mowers and string trimmers in trimming greens, around tees, fence lines, banks and hillsides; edges cart paths; rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
Operate golf carts and utility vehicles for transportation around golf course in the performance of tasks.
Helps in project work of green, tee, fairway and additional areas; grades and prepares soil base; lays sod; and seeds aforementioned areas.
Conduct task in a safe and effective manor Can take written and oral instruction Ability to get to work on time Willingness to learn new things that pertain to the upkeep of the golf course Education/Requirement:
Need to pass background check.
High School Diploma Valid Drivers License Benefits/Compensation 40-hour work week with plentiful overtime Double time on Sundays if you worked the previous 6 days Uniforms Golf Privileges Meals Provided Job Type:
